Cancellation: If you need to cancel within 21 days of your visit -- we will endeavor to re-rent the studio, and if we can, will happily refund your deposit less 10% fee.
Availability: Availability of studio changes daily. We cannot hold reservations without deposit.
Payment: Although we accept Paypal for deposit, we appreciate cash/check for balance.
Smoking Nota Bene!
The indoor and outdoor areas of our building are non-smoking. Indoor or outdoor smoking immediately cancels one's stay.
Does the studio have a private entrance? No. The studio is accessed through a shared entrance -- you go up one staircase which comes to our flat, & you immediately walk up another short staircase which takes you to the studio. At top of stairs is a nice landing off of which is the studio, bathroom, and large walk-in clothes closet.
What floor is the studio on.?
Technically 4th. But, as above, one flight of stairs up to our flat (3rd floor), and a short set of stairs up to the penthouse.
Stairs/Elevator: The building does not have an elevator.
Bicycle Parking: Yes, we have indoor secure parking for your bicycles. You can rent a bike for the duration of your stay; includes helmet and lock. The bike rental shop is 8 blocks from here.
WiFi: Secured network.
Bed: Queen!
Heat: 6 southern windows, skylight, gas fireplace, silent electric freestanding heater should you need it.
Laundry There is a washer and dryer for your convenience.
Heat Gas fireplace and electric heat, lots of south facing windows and skylight.
Public transit:
Many guests rely on public transit within the city and then will rent a car for day trips to Napa, Monterey & the coastal beaches. We are on a bus line which connects throughout the city and is 6 stops from BART.
